Chairman of the Board

The story began on May 8, 1966, in Büyükdere on the Istanbul Strait, when 31-year-old Salim Düzgit founded İstanbul Boğazı Vapur Hizmetleri.

This marked the start of a significant journey in the maritime industry. Initially, the company was established to serve vessels transiting the Strait and anchoring in Büyükdere Bay, operating as a ship sub-agency by providing a wide range of services on behalf of main agencies. These services required uninterrupted commitment, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
